Yami skips Bigg Boss to avoid Salman

There’s something new happening in the Yami Gautam-Pulkit Samrat-Shweta Rohira love story everyday. The latest is that Pulkit went to Bigg Boss 9 to promote his upcoming film, Sanam Re. Now you’d expect Yami to be a part of the promotions as well – especially since she has attended almost every promotional event of the film till date – but the actress was a no-show. Something tells us, it had to do with host Salman Khan.

While the film’s leading lady was out action, the superstar shot the episode with Pulkit and director Divya Khosla Kumar. We hear, Salman was rather warm to Pulkit and joked around with him.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star has been trying to save his rakhi sister’s shaadi with Pulkit – he specially invited the Fukrey actor to his birthday bash last month and advised him to save his crumbling marriage. (Did Salman end the Yami-Pulkit affair?, January 6).

Not surprisingly, as soon as Salman entered the picture, stories of Pulkit and Yami parting ways started doing the rounds. And now, Yami dropped out of the Bigg Boss shoot. 

The Sanam Re actress, on her part, wrote on Twitter that she is in Coonoor, shooting for a commercial.

Now, the million dollar question is: Was the commercial shoot a convenient excuse to avoid coming face-to-face with Salman? Or was it just a coincidence? Frankly, it doesn’t take too long to join the dots.
